Bento update~! [Monday

I've been lazy again, forgetting to take pics of Aug 10th - 14th bentos. Lulz~!

[Last week]
I made a bento lunch for Juan on Tuesday when I visited him at work. I bought a WoW battlechest for Lee and a Guitar Hero t-shirt for my sister while I was there.

On Wednesday, I met up with Goggs in Chinatown to shop for bento accessories. Went to Mulbury[sp?], Elizabeth Center, then we backtracked to Pearl River. I found a cute pink two tier bento box for my sister. Then, I bought a whole bunch of teas and I found him beer flavored Pretz. He also forced me to make him a bento:


August 13

  • Left to right: Jasmine rice with seasme seeds, decorated star with siracha sauce, cherry tomatoes, octodogs, and homemade spicysweet chicken wings.


    • I was so tired that day from grocery shopping with Lee in the morning. Then making the stupid chicken wings, washing dishes, and cleaning. >:O

    Gog: OMG! You almost killed me!
    Me: What
    Gog: I ate the star in the bento and it was HOT. I ALMOST DIED PLAYING SWAT4
    ME: HAHAHA


    Ya, but here are the bentos up to date!



    August 15

  • Top tier, left to right: Heart shaped hard-boiled eggs, salt&pepper container with a bear head ^-^, angry octodogs, cherry tomatoes, and Russian potato salad (Olivier).
  • Bottom tier: Jasmine rice with naruto and some kind of Hello Kitty fish packet of furikake.


    August 16

  • Top tier, left to right: Cherry tomatoes, salt&pepper bear, faceless octodogs, cream cheese, homemade swedish meatballs with a giraffe pick.
  • Bottom tier: Jasmine rice topped with Hello Kitty green bell pepper furikake~As seen on the right of the bento box.


    August 17

  • Left to right: Cherry tomatoes, homemade burgers, mayonaise in a sauce cup I got from Crate & Barrel for $.95, blue star shaped hard-boiled egg, octodogs, and homemade seasoned baked fries with a koala pick.


    August 18

  • Top tier, left to right: Red heart shaped hard-boiled egg, octodogs with a kitty pick, and tuna fish salad.
  • Bottom tier: Onigiri made with toasted sesame seeds, nori, and jasmine rice.






    • Gawd, my bentos seem to be the same all the time. I've only been using at least 30 minutes to prep and cook before my sister goes to work. So not much time to cook, other than the easy stuff.

    So lazy, so I gave her some leftover rice and chicken from last night's dinner. She said she liked it, so I saved her some for her lunch today. :3

    I need a 2 tier bento box. Must go to Chinatown!

  • Middle, clockwise: Cherry tomatoes, hot sauce in a bunny sauce bottle, star-shaped egg with sesame seeds for face, refried pinto beans, carrot sticks, and a piece of Laughing Cow cheese.

    I didn't make a bento for my sister yesterday due to passing out before 7am, the time which I make her bento. When she came back home, I told her I was sorry I didn't get to make her lunch. I think she pouted and said she went starving, I gasped, then she almost teared up and then she let out a giggle. "It's okay, I'm kidding. I had pizza.", geeze.



    Today's bento! Kitty-themed! Mreow~! =^.^=



  • Top to bottom, left to right: Tomago wrapped with nori, sesame seed onigiri shaped in hearts with nori hearts, strawberry pound cake from Jas-Mart, and cherry tomatoes with a pink kitty pick stabbed into it. :D

    Forgot to take pics of the bentos I made for my sister the past two days.

    I finally got my first half of bento supplies!

    Today's bento is a bear theme:



  • Left section clockwise: Tuna fish salad in a cupcake cup, naruto, soy sauce in a flying pig sauce bottle, and Chinese sausages with a bear pick.
  • Middle: A pink divider with pics of cute bears.
  • Right section: Jasmine rice topped with salmon furikake, with cut up nori for the bear face.
